1. Who we are
In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator named above. This policy explains how we handle personal data on funneltrace.com, including its waitlist form, and in the FunnelTrace service we provide to our customers. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) in mind.
2. Data our customers collect through FunnelTrace
Our customers use FunnelTrace to run their own pages, funnels and lead lists. For the personal data they collect from their visitors and leads, the customer decides what is collected and why: the customer is the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act, and we process that data on their behalf. If you are a visitor or lead of one of our customers, please contact that customer first. We will help them answer your request.
3. What we collect, and why
- The waitlist form: your name, email address, business or brand name, phone number (optional) and your consent, so that we can reply to you about the pilot and invite you to it. Each entry is emailed to our support inbox through our email delivery provider.
- Bot protection: the waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is sent by a person. Turnstile processes technical information from your browser and your IP address for that check.
- Abuse prevention: we count waitlist submissions per IP address for a short time, to limit abuse.
- Hosting: Cloudflare, which hosts this website, processes request data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect it.
- Customer accounts: if you use the FunnelTrace service, the details of your account and workspace (such as your name and email address) and billing details, so that we can provide the service, support you and bill you.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
4. Consent
We process your waitlist entry on the basis of your consent, given with the checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing connect@funneltrace.com; we will then delete your entry. Where the law allows processing without consent, for example to keep the service secure or to prevent fraud, we rely on that instead.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who process it on our behalf to run this website and the service: Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Resend (email delivery) and Supabase (database hosting for the service); and, where a customer uses them, Razorpay (payments) and the integrations the customer switches on. Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist entries: until we have invited you to the pilot and you have answered, or until you ask us to delete them, and in any case for no longer than 12 months after you joined, unless you become a customer.
- Customer account data: for as long as the account is open, and afterwards only as long as the law requires (for example, for tax and accounting records).
- Submission counts for abuse prevention: about a minute.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; withdraw your consent; have a grievance addressed; and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity. Email connect@funneltrace.com from the address you gave us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Grievances
For any grievance about how we handle your personal data, write to connect@funneltrace.com.
9. Security
This website is served only over HTTPS. In the FunnelTrace service, secrets such as integration credentials and payment keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that data will never be accessed without authorisation.
10. Children
This website and the service are meant for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed; if a change matters to customers, we will tell them by email.
